When a death occurs to a family member or a close friend, we are often confronted with demands requiring immediate decisions in the worst possible circumstances. At American Heritage Cremation, we offer a wide variety of ways to plan in advance so that funeral arrangements may be made in a calm, practical manner, rather than leaving the decisions to the family during a traumatic time.

Planning ahead ensures the exact type of funeral service and cemetery location wanted while providing the opportunity to finance over time at today's prices. This guarantees against future cost increases, removing the financial burden from your family.

Registration
Membership in our plan is simple, it saves money, and it is open to as many family members as you want. When you complete the necessary forms and authorizations you become registered and entitled to the registered price for cremation. There is never a charge for registration!

The second step you can choose to consider is pre-payment. This is your protection against inflation. It saves you even more money. The funds are placed in a trust account regulated by a federally insured bank or funded by an insurance policy. We prefer to make arrangements in our offices, but if you cannot come into our offices for reasons of illness, distance or inconvenience arrangements can be made by telephone, fax (708-788-7777) or mail. You can also request one of our senior helpers to help you complete our forms.

Please encourage your family doctor to become an IVRS (Illinois Vital Record System) user. This will expedite the cremation process as well as making death certificates available for family business matters.
